Chickadees at Night Bedtime Story Time
Monday, May 21• 6:00 p.m.
Story and activity by author William Smith, plus bedtime snack and a chance to win a signed copy of the book. Sponsored by Friends of the Albertson Memorial Library.
Dream Big: Reach for the Sky!
Tuesday, June 12 • 6:30 p.m.
Mad Science of Iowa’s interactive program with a rocket blast-off and science show showcasing experiments related to nighttime, the sky, and dreaming.
LEGOs at the Library
Saturday, July 7 • 10:00 a.m. – noon
Use our library system’s traveling kit of LEGOs to build your own masterpiece. Bring your camera to document your creations. Perfect for families! Recommended for children ages 5+. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Night Flight
Thursday, July 26 • 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
The Welty Environmental Center introduces bats and other nighttime creatures through stories, games, and crafts. SLP kids stay after for a special picnic.
Theater Thursdays Performance
Friday, July 27 • 7 and 8 p.m.
4th-8th graders will perform in play. $1 admission per ticket per show.
