Summer Reading Program
June 18-July 28

A traditional reading program for two age groups with logs, incentives, and prize drawings. Registration has closed. If you still want your child to participate, stop in at the library to request a reading folder.

PreK/Toddler

Participate in six (6) consecutive weeks of reading, June 18 – July 28. Mark up a log of reading and summer activities every week. Check-in at the library to show your progress and enter into the grand prize t-shirt drawing.

Entering Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Participate in six (6) consecutive weeks of reading, June 18 – July 28.  Keep a log of reading time each week. Check-in at the library to show your progress and enter into the grand prize t-shirt drawing.

August Library Camps

Two concurrent “camps” for two age groups
Drop-in program; no pre-registration required.

Rocking Out Around the World 
Ages 4-8
August 6-23, Mondays & Thursdays, 10:30 am - noon

Stories, crafts, songs, and related activities about different countries around the world, with a particular emphasis on music.

Creation Station 
Ages 9+
August 6-23, Mondays & Thursdays, 10:30 am - noon
Showcase: August 23, 6:30 pm

An open art studio and a few other creative activities that participants will then showcase to their family and friends on the evening of August 23.

For kids who want to creatively present a book they’ve read over the summer. Requires participants to select their own book, read it over the summer, and present it on August 22.
