To pay a library fine online using your debit or credit card, navigate to https://www.govpaynow.com/gps/user/plc/8715 and follow the instructions for payment. You must have the following information available to complete payment:
1. Your full name
2. Your phone #
3. Your Albertson Memorial Library card number (note: a Green County library card or South Central Library System card will not work to pay a fine owed to Albertson Memorial Library).
4. The amount of fine you wish to pay. You may call 862-3491 to ask for your current fine balance, or use your remote login and password to check your fine balance on the library's online catalog. Call 862-3491 to set up a username and password for the library's catalog if you don't have one.
Credit Card Payment Policy
Albertson Memorial Library accepts major credit and debit cards for library fine payments. This includes overdue and damaged/lost fines. We do not accept credit card payments for book sales, copy/print/fax fees, or any other library fees.
Credit card payments are serviced by GovPayNet through the Village of Albany. Access to the service is through the Albertson Memorial Library website.
GovPayNet charges a non-refundable service fee for each transaction. GovPayNet sets these service fees and they are subject to change. Neither Albertson Memorial Library nor the Village of Albany receives any portion of the service fee collected by GovPayNet during a credit card transaction. As of 2-10-2021 this fee is $1.75 for each fine under $50.
A patron who requests library staff to make a credit card payment on his/her behalf must present his/her library card and photo identification to the librarian making payment. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Library staff adjust a patron’s fine balance in his/her account only after the Director is notified by email from GovPayNet that the credit card payment has cleared.
Albertson Memorial Library is not responsible for incorrect payments made by patrons through the online payment form.
